What are Angular Directives?
Angular Directives are used to extend HTML functionality with new special angular attributes.
Angular has built-in directives with which you can use reusable functionalities.
Angular provides the mechanism to create user specific custom directives.
We can easily identify angular directives in an HTML page. All angular directives start with ‘ng-‘ extension. The two letters ng- are taken from the word Angular.
Few of the built-in directives are:
ng-app: ng-app defines the part of the code as angular application specific code. Generally, it is used as an attribute with HTML elements.
ng-model: ng-model attribute holds the data of the element at which it was declared. It supports two-way data binding.
ng-controller: ng-controller control the data of an angular application.
ng-repeat: ng-repeat is used to iterate set of HTML elements till the specified condition is satisfied.
ng-init: ng-init initializes the model attribute values.
